THE COST OF A SAFARI IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PARTS
1. The flight to Egypt and then on to Aswan.
2. The Arrival & Departure Package, which covers your arrival in either Cairo,
Luxor or Aswan. The package provides all assistance at airports, transfers and
two nights in a four star hotel at the start and end of the safari.
3. The price of the safaris, which includes transfers to and from Aswan airport
(or hotel) to the safari start point. Please refer to Dates & Prices
Safaris.
FLIGHTS TO EGYPT
Cairo or Luxor is five to six hours flying time from most major airports in Europe and then there are regular connecting flights onward to Aswan. From Cairo the flight to Aswan takes 1½ hours and from Luxor to Aswan 30 minutes.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE PACKAGE
The ‘Arrival & Departure
Package’ is
included in the cost of a Lake Nasser Safari which has fixed start days every
Tuesday and ends on a Sunday. If you plan to make your own arrangements to
reach Aswan then deduct the cost of the ‘Arrival & Departure Package’ from
the safari cost.
The Nubian Safari price does not include the cost of an ‘Arrival & Departure Package’. This safari can start and end on any day of the year and can last for as long as is required. If you would like to include the Arrival & Departure Package.
Arrival Itinerary
Day 1: (Monday) On arrival in Egypt, an
American Express representative will meet you at either Cairo or Luxor airport
in the arrivals hall. You will be assisted through customs & immigration and
then taken to a four star hotel for bed and breakfast.
Day 2: (Tuesday) Transfer to either Cairo
or Luxor airport for the flight to Aswan, with a flight arrival time in Aswan
of between 8.30 or 9.30am. An African Angler representative will meet you at
Aswan airport and transfer you to the safari start point.
Departure Itinerary
Day 1 (Sunday) At the end of the safari
you will be transferred from the lake to Aswan airport for the flight to Cairo
or Luxor where you will be met and then transferred to a four star hotel for
overnight with breakfast.
Day 2 (Monday) Transfer to either Cairo
or Luxor airport for your flight home. Help with immigration and customs is provided.
Package Price
Per
person sharing a twin room: £120 (£110 for 2006) or €180 (€165
for 2006)
Supplement for a single room: £60 (£55 for 2006) or €90 (€85
for 2006)
High Season Hotel Supplement
Hotels have a high season supplement of £35 or €55 per person. The
safaris effected start between April 9 & 17 and between December 15 & January
6 2007.
Included:
- Meeting & assistance at all airports in Egypt
- All transfers between airports, hotels and safari start point
- Two nights in a first class hotel with buffet bed and breakfast
