How To Make A Booking
Please contact the African Angler by clicking on
one of the email addresses below and then send us an E-mail explaining which
safari you are considering and any questions you might have.

We will then reply answering your questions
Alternatively please click on Representative Travel Agents where
you will find a world wide list of agents who represent the African Angler;
they will be pleased to answer your questions and make a booking for you.
1. When you have instructed us, or your travel agent, to make a booking we
will send you an invoice and a copy of our latest Destination
Guide which
is full of information about our safaris.
2. When you get the safari invoice you will be asked to pay a deposit which
will be A$375 or £150 or €250 or US$270 per person – depending
on which country you live in. This deposit will then fully confirm your booking.
3. Deposits will be deducted from the final payment. The deposit is not refundable
if you cancel and we suggest you take out travel insurance against having to
cancel
4. Full payment is required when pre booking a One Day Fishing Trip.
5. You can pay by credit card or by bank transfer. If you are living in Australia
or England you can pay with a personal cheque.
6. We will hold your reservation for two weeks from the invoice date. If deposits
have not been paid in time the boats you have booked will be put back on offer
to other anglers.
7. Balance of payment is due four weeks before the safari starts after which
there will be no refund of payment.
8. We will refund the
balance, but not the deposit, within two weeks prior to arrival if the reason
for canceling is not covered by travel insurance, for example civil strife
or war, where accredited authorities advise against travel. For travel information

Single Anglers
If you are booking a single place on a safari you are most welcome; we will guarantee your place and find you a partner to fish with. As a single person you can only book a Lake Nasser Safari.
Safari Only Discounts
There are no discounts for the Arrival & Departure Package
Discounts for Children
The lower age limit is 10 years and the upper limit for a child discount is
21. If the child is the third person in the boat we can offer the following
discount on a safari that lasts for 4 days or more.
The two adult clients pay the full safari cost in the price band under 3 anglers
sharing a boat. The child joins the boat as the third person and pays 40% of
the cost under the price band for 3 anglers sharing a boat.
Father and Son
The lower age limit is 10 years and the upper limit for a sons discount is
21. If the son is the second person in the boat we he gets a 30% discount on
a Lake Nasser Safari a Nubian Safari must be for 4 days or more. The Father
pays the full amount under the price band for 2 anglers sharing a boat; the
son joins the boat as the second person and gets a 30% discount for the safari
cost under the price band for 2 anglers sharing a boat.
Organizer
If a group of six or more anglers book a safari together we can offer the following
discount to the angler who is organizing the booking.
Lake Nasser Safari: With five full paying anglers the sixth angler pays 50%
of the safari cost.
Nubian Safari: With five full paying anglers the sixth angler pays 60% of the
safari cost
Insurance
It is a condition of joining a safari that you have travel insurance with comprehensive medical cover. These safaris come under the category of 'adventure travel' (similar to trekking, water sports, mountaineering etc.) You therefore need to take out an insurance package specifically designed for this type of trip.

Important Requirement
Lake Nasser is a controlled area and as such we have to apply for permission
for each angler who comes on a safari. To get this permission we need a photocopy
of your passport; information pages only the visa pages are not required. Please
be sure to photocopy or scan and e-mail or fax this information when you make
a booking. If the passport photocopies have not been received within three
weeks of the departure date we might not be able to get you permission in time.
Please send your passport copy by either of the following methods:-
1) Within
4 weeks of arrival please post to, African Angler, PO Box 191, Aswan, Egypt.
2) Scan them and send by E-mail to a-angler@link.net
3) Digital camera picture
and then send by E-mail.
4) Fax the passport photocopy to the African Angler
