Lake Nasser Safari: This safari starts every Tuesday and ends on a Sunday. If you are coming on your own or with a friend you can book a guaranteed place.
Nubian Safari: This safari starts and ends on any day of the year and can last from one night up to as long as is required. A minimum of two anglers must book this safari together. We can accommodate any number of anglers from two to a maximum of eight booking the safari together.
Abu Simbel Safari: These safaris fish in the far south of Lake Nasser which is not as heavily fished as the north. Added bonus is a visit to the Temples of Abu Simbel which are close to being one of the wonders of the ancient world.
Day Fishing Trips: Day fishing trips can be taken on any day of the year.

The cost of each safari is divided into three parts.

1)   The international flight to reach Egypt and then on to Aswan
2)   The Arrival & Departure Package which takes care of your arrival in Egypt and all your travel arrangements to reach Aswan where the safaris starts.
3)   The safari itself.

The standard of both our safaris is the same.
A boat safari unit is made up of one to four fishing boats, supported by a supply boat (mother ship) that acts as a mobile camp and rest area. The supply boats are well equipped, with built-in kitchen, toilet and shower. There are also large iceboxes to keep the food and drinks cold. The food is highly rated by the anglers who have been on safari with us and our Nubian safari crews are excellent hosts.
The fishing boats have been designed to provide an ideal fishing platform and also double up as comfortable accommodation. There are two bunks each with a full-size mattress. At night the cabin can be enclosed by a canvas wind shield to provide a cozy sheltered sleeping area which has a 12v lighting system.
An experienced English speaking fishing guide captains each fishing boat.

This safari is designed for anglers who would like to come on their own or with a friend and join in the atmosphere of a sociable camp with other anglers.
If you want to book a single place on this safari you are most welcome; we will guarantee your place and find you a partner to fish with. Single anglers are expected to pay for one place in the price bracket 2 in a boat, as shown in the table below.
The Lake Nasser Safari starts every Tuesday and ends on a Sunday; you can come on a safari for as many weeks as you want.
The safari prices are per person and include the Arrival & Departure Package, please see below. If you plan to make your own arrangements to reach Aswan then deduct £110 from the safari cost in the price panel below.

This safari can start and end on any day of the year and can last for as long as is required; the shortest available safari is for two days and one night. This gives anglers the flexibility of deciding exactly how long they want to stay on a fishing safari.
A Nubian safari offers a degree of independence, which many anglers prefer. This safari is ideal for two anglers or a group of friends who like to fish together. They can charter one or two fishing boats and then set out to explore the lake at their own pace on a fishing adventure that has few equals anywhere.
The minimum number of anglers needed for a Nubian safari is two in one boat and the maximum number is eight anglers on the same safari. This is a private safari and we will not put other fishing boats on the same safari with you.
The price in the table below is per person for each day or part of a day that is spent on the lake. For a safari lasting for 5 days or longer the less expensive “5 Days up” price applies to the total number of days booked.

The cost of this safari does not include the Arrival and Departure Package. If you would like us to arrange this package for you, the cost will be an additional Ł125 and Ł75 for a single room supplement.

During 2007 we have allocated a Lake Nasser Safari unit consisting of three fishing boats and one of our supply boats (mother ships) to a series of safaris running between Garf Hussein and Abu Simbel. This itinerary involves approximately 4 days exploring areas which have seldom been fished before.
On this safari you have the opportunity to visit the temples of Abu Simbel which are among the most magnificent monuments in the world and well worth the experience.

You can come on a Day Fishing Trip on any day of the year. We will collect you from your hotel or cruise boat at 8.00am and then transfer you to your fishing boat for a full day's fishing. We return to Aswan at 4.30pm, when we will transfer you back to your hotel or cruise boat.
An experienced fishing guide will captain the fishing boat. We provide each boat with up to three sets of rods and reels and a box of lures; you only have to pay extra if you lose any of the lures.
A quality picnic lunch is included in the price and there is an icebox full of soft drinks and beer, which you pay for according to consumption. On a day trip a fishing boat will comfortably carry up to four people, with up to three of these fishing at a time.

Take off for a Desert Lake Experience Regardless of what part of the world you are flying from it is worth shopping around for a good flight deal to Egypt. Egypt is a major tourist destination with a huge number of tour operators organising programmes and attractive flight deals. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like any help.

Many of the International flights to Egypt arrive in the evening, when there is no onward connecting flight to Aswan; this means you have to spend a night in either Cairo or Luxor before traveling on to Aswan the next day.
With American Express, our handling agent in Egypt, we have put together an itinerary which will take care of your travel arrangements from the moment you arrive until you board your home bound flight.

Arrival Itinerary
Day 1: On arrival in Egypt, our representative will meet you at either Luxor or Cairo airport in the arrival hall. You will be assisted through customs & immigration and then taken to a first-class hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to either Luxor or Cairo airport for the flight to Aswan. Please book a flight with an arrival time in Aswan of between 8.30 - 9.30am (or earlier). An African Angler representative will meet you at Aswan airport and transfer you to the safari start point.

Departure Itinerary
Day 1: At the end of the safari you will be transferred from the lake to Aswan airport for the flight to Luxor or Cairo, where you will be met and then transferred to a first-class hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to either Luxor or Cairo airport for your flight home. Help with immigration and customs is provided.

Not Included
• The costs of the flight from Cairo or Luxor to Aswan is not included because it is often less expensive if you book this domestic flight together with your international flight ticket. If required, we will be pleased to book your Egypt domestic flights - just let us know.

We do not include tackle and lures in the cost of our safaris because many anglers like to bring their own equipment.
Taking on a huge Nile perch requires specialized tackle and lures. If you do not have your own specialized tackle we can offer you everything you need packaged into an affordable price; Tackle box, trolling rod & reel and a heavy shore rod & reel.
Our tackle box is good value; it contains more than 30 lures at an average UK retail value of Ł15, and will save you a considerable outlay.
Fishing the lake every day, we have the advantage of being up to date with what lures are most successful. We have an excellent range of lures (fitted with extra-strength hooks) for both trolling and shore fishing.

Stealth Boats provide anglers with an alternative fishing platform to fish areas more quietly and efficiently. The main fishing boats have to be big enough to live in, and although they are also excellent fishing platforms the stealth boat system defiantly has an advantage. A Stealth Boat can be quietly drifted or rowed over underwater promontories or past rocky drop-offs, allowing anglers to cast lures, or wobble dead bait without the disturbance caused by a bigger boat.
The Stealth boats we use are light aluminum skiffs called Sea Ark's which are powered with 10HP or 15HP engines. The Sea Ark is also light enough to be easily towed by the larger boats between fishing grounds.
A stealth boat can carry only two people; if you want to use one on your own, it is important you have the experience to handle small boats.
It is an awesomely exciting experience to catch a big fish in one of these smaller boats.
You can book a Stealth Boat for the same number of days as the safari you have booked.
