LAKE NASSER SAFARI
Personally Escorted By JOHN WILSON

The 'A' Team! About to set off shore fishing

John Wilson will not need an introduction to most anglers because he is England’s best-known angling personality and a very experienced fisherman.
Over the past twelve years John has been on sixteen safaris to Lake Nasser, which adds up to a lot of experience of the lake. He loves the relaxed atmosphere of a boat safari almost as much as he does catching the big Nile perch and hard fighting tiger.
This safari is a great opportunity to learn from the experts. John has consistently good Nile perch catch records; he will explain how it is done and the best lures to use. Tim Baily who has been running the African Angler safaris on Lake Nasser for the past fifteen years will also accompany the safari to help with the guiding.
If you come on this safari you can sit back and relax because everything will be organized for you. John will sort out all the tackle and lures you need for the safari and then set everything up for you in the fishing boats. And it's all included in the price.

Monday
Depart London Gatwick for your direct charter flight to Aswan in southern Egypt which is six hours flying time; arriving at approximately 5pm. On arrival a representative from the African Angler will meet you in the arrivals hall. He will assist you through customs & immigration and then transfer you to the Basma hotel for the night with buffet breakfast.

Tuesday
We make a very early start at 4am to maximize the amount of time spent on safari and fishing. The drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel, in the far south of Lake Nasser, takes about three hours. On arrival at Abu Simbel visit the Temples which are among the most magnificent ancient monuments in the world; then transfer to the lake to begin your safari.

Wednesday to Sunday
OOn safari catching big fish and having a great time! With all soft drinks, bottled water and meals provided. It is difficult to comprehend the sheer size of Lake Nasser, with an area of 2,000 square miles and a shore line of some 4,500 miles. Because of the long distances involved we have tended to concentrate on fishing the top two thirds of the lake while the bottom third, in the Abu Simbel area, still remains relatively unexplored.

Monday
Morning fishing then at 3pm, then transfer from Abu Simbel directly to Aswan airport to connect with the charter flight for your homebound journey to London Gatwick.
